Undies

Here's Kaleigh in her new undies. She's been doing fantastic on potty training for the past 2 months now. However, we just haven't been able to say she's big enough for panties. I came home from buying her new undies. She had two packages to choose from. One of Disney Princesses. And the other one...

Potty Training

So Kaleigh is now potty training. But lately it's been Brenden wetting the bed on a routine basis. Lately he's been waking up in the middle of the night and getting drinks of water. So imagine my urgency to get him into bed when I wake up and find him sleeping in my bed. However when I go make sure his bed is turned down I find this...

... as I go to move her back to her bed... yes, she wet the bed. How does a mother ever sleep?

Portland Trip

We had a great time going places. We started off the week at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm. The kids loved it. This picture took almost my entire battery life. It was great. But we had fun.

Later that day even... we went bowling.
This is Brenden acting bored... And our favorite little cousin, Gavin. It was Gavin's first time bowling and Brenden's 750th...lol okay not really but Brenden goes once a week. So he wasn't as exctied as Gavin. They both did great. Gavin made a lot of good shots. They only had 5 foot fouls.

Later we went out for Ice Cream at the famous Tillamook Cheese Factory. It was good.

Later we went to Chuck E Cheese. That was fun. The kids loved the games. Kaleigh never left the carousel and Brenden got lost a few times with random girls. Yes, a 7 year old girl was asking to introduce Brenden to her parents... oy!
They had the dinos... we love dinos... hey it made an awesome scrapbook page.

Next we learned how to fly planes, at the Evergreen Avation Museum. Bren loved it. He tested every airplane he could.

Oh yes Kaleigh also learned how to fly. She loved it just as much as Brenden.

5 Years!

Okay so no pictures for this. Sorry. But last night Keith and I went on our 5 year anniversary date. It was fantastic. We started the date drivin the Impala thru downtown Spokane. Since we had dinner in the Safari Room in the Davenport Tower, we got valet. I was shocked because for those of you who know my hubby... Then we went to dinner at the Safari Room it was amazing, the place was beautiful. We enjoyed dinner very much then we took a stroll around downtown, just talking and enjoying. After we went to a movie. We finally saw 21. We had seen the documentry about it on the History or the Discovery channel years ago. So we were really intrested in seeing it on the big screen. Yes, they ended up changing it a bit, but I was alright with it. It was still pretty good. So now we're ready for 5 more years... LOL

Welcome to the Hopkins World

Hey All so I know it's been a long time since I've even looked at my own blog. Yes, there are still four of us. If we haven't spoken since I last posted here. Yes, there are now four of us. Kaleigh is just about to reach her 2nd birthday. She's very excited for her birthday... but you know she'd be excited if we told her that Brenden was going to sit on her. Hope you all haven't missed us too much. I'll try to keep this updated now.
