It's finally happened.

Hi all for those of you who haven't seen my announcement on Facebook.  The cat's out of the bag, although most of you have either guessed, the past few weeks were really hard to keep quiet especially since I've been really busy volunteering my time to the Young Women's program by assisting with their activities.  Today was a stressful on this morning I was getting hand outs ready for the lesson I was going to teach.  I also ran late getting into the shower all I ran over in my mind was I was going to be late to church.  Our records were finally going to be read into the ward, we apparently according to the church only had one child for some reason Kaleigh's records were never entered.  Well, we got her records in and today we were read into the ward.  Immediately followed by announcements and I was finally, wait let's try that again FINALLY sustained as the new Young Women's President.  So all of you that are my friends I need ideas.  Right now we have an activity planned for our joint YW YM this month.  So I'm good there.  I'm glad I can think on the fly.  I was sitting there in BYC today and the YM presidency looked over to us and said "Let's let River have a chance to do the activity, we need to share that with her."  As my girls laughed affirming that the boys aren't the best planners.  Well for all my "friends" send me some ideas for anything.  I need to get cracking on the Young Women in Excellence Program.  Help.

Good luck!! Why don't you send your ideas to me??

We just had our YW in Excellence and we made the girls aprons. But during the evening we had individual cakes that we had each girl decorate to show her individuality. They seemed to like it. Then the cakes were our dessert!
